Bo, a shepherd cross, is PETerna’s most
“senior” recipient. He happens to live with two of the veterinary
scientists that developed the product and they had so much faith in
the benefits of PETerna that they have been “testing” it on their
own dog for the last five years. Bo turns 16 soon, a very ripe old
age for a big dog. He may be slowing down but his health is good and
his coat is still soft and shiny.
APRIL 20 2003: My 11 yr. old Rottweiler (Roxy) and 14 yr. old Border
Collie X (Maximus) have been on Peterna for 3 months now.
I decided to try the product for several reasons...to promote
healing of a huge sebaceous cyst that Roxy had on her cheek and to
improve the dogs immune systems so that they would fare better being
elderly dogs.
I beleive
having fed a variety of the highest quality foods and supplements
throughout their lives, have brought these two wonderful dogs to
their advanced years. I also believe that you can never stop trying
to give them the best to prolong their longevity.

Diagnosed with pancreatic cancer last spring,
Bear lost energy and enthusiasm for life. Reluctant to remove her
pancreas and leave her as a diabetic, Bear’s vet prescribed
Prednisone to help make her last days as comfortable as possible.
Hoping that it would encourage the eight year old shepherd/lab cross
to start eating again, her caring owners started to feed her PETerna.
A ramp, built for easier access to the back yard, served as a
springboard for chasing squirrels. Bear was soon able to take her
twice daily walks. Her coat was shiny and healthy. Sadly, almost a
year to the day she was diagnosed, she finally succumbed to the
cancer. Her loving parents are happy for the extra time they were
able to be with her.

My youngest dog suffered from a reactíon after
her vaccinations. She had trouble putting on weight, lethargic and
loss of appetite. She only weighed two pounds so you can imagine my
concern. When I carne across Petema I thought "Why Not" lets give it
a try. Within two weeks she had gained an entire pound I was so
excited with this new product that I started giving it to all my
dogs. I have one with bad knees and two that do agility so how could
I go wrong. I really believe that Peterna has helped all my dogs in
one way or another. When you have working dogs it is really
important to keep up their energy level and I believe Petema does
that.

A breeder in Honolulu has been asked by her
vet and other breeders what she is feeding her dogs to make such a

After supplementing my Japanese Spaniel (Chin),
Ch. Kanukryks Hoshi at Broomhall, with PETerna for about four months,
I have noticed quite a change in his coat. The texture has become
silkier and there is a decided change in volume. I have also seen a
dramatic increase in his vitality – he is as energetic as a puppy! I
am also giving PETerna to an Italian Greyhound female who has just
been bred and expect to see an increase in her puppies’ vitality.
